There’s no way Jimmy Kimmel went from hosting The Man Show on Comedy Central to having his own late night show and hosting the Oscars without selling his soul and being owned.

Definitely. He went up a few notches. You don't go up a few notches without more serious committment. What's Adam Carolla up to these days? We forgot all about him, but good for him for not having the stomach to notch up further.
