When I was reading about Pizzagate on r/conspiracy (seems so long ago now), there was also a news piece one day about an "unusual increase in shark activity" - basically a shark party - off the Atlantic coast. I want to say it was near Virginia but I'm not sure.

My first thought was - what if you had a lot of "evidence" that you needed to get rid of in a hurry? Too many bodies to feed to pigs (and you'd need access to a pig farm). However you do have a boat...
