This strikes me as odd given he's been exonerated.

It also makes me comfy. He's just sitting there watching it unfold, quiet and cozy, as bombs drop around us.

Any thoughts?

The power to command attention can be a negative when you want eyes somewhere else. You are correct, and I'll add he has plenty of time to address this once the frenzy dies down a bit, so he can refocus the anger back on the evil pedos
