I don't know about giants, aliens, or giant zombies at the mall, but apparently there were a fuckton of police there armed to the teeth. The official narrative is it was just a few teens with firecrackers.

I will say, a hundred police (or whatever it was) with automatic weapons and other "invasion" gear does seem a little extreme for firecrackers, even if they thought it was guns. I mean, this is Miami. Gun fire isn't a rarity.
