Could Hunter be insulated because he surrendered long ago and has been used as Bait for many years? is/was he a Trojan all along?

Boy, I don't know. He seems too stupid to have carried out an elaborate plan. I do think, if pressed in the right way, he could roll on the whole family to save his own neck. 2024 should be an exciting year.
