The worst they tried to bring out on him was a photo of him "crossdressing" at a party on a cruise ship years before he ran for office. Said "crossdressing" appeared to be that a couple of women draped a feather boa on him while he was drunk and took some photos with him, it's not like he was in Rocky Horror attire or somesuch.
Plenty of people in Congress think they "are all that and a bag of chips" and can fall for beautiful women (or men) propositioning them. Likely, they are even aware of others being set up but somehow think they are different or better. This is the mentality of too many of those elected, or perhaps "selected" for this very purpose (to be used).
He makes a really good point...I will be 59 years old here in a few days and in all that time I have NEVER had an attractive female just come up to me and want to get to know me because she was interested in who I was or was just plain attracted to me. In my younger days, I was in great shape, dressed nice, etc...but I have always been SHORT, dark and handsome...LOL! I am only 5'7" tall. 99% of females do not like short men. Boy have I felt the sting of that truth so many times to count...
That said, I have had fairly attractive females (maybe 7's...at best...?) want to go out with me, but after spending some time with them I always found that they were not interested in me, but were only interested in me being a father to their young children. This happened several times in my dating years. No judgement...I understand their position...very difficult life being a single mother.
I also feel that the same goes for the other hand...truth be told, I was only interested in them because they were attractive. For the most part they were average to talk to and really didn't contribute to my life in an real meaningful way...just being honest here...
So...based on my experience with women, if some 10 came up to me anywhere at any time (unless it was some far remote undiscovered island with only hot females) and started paying attention to me, I would immediately be suspicious! The trouble that could happen in that scenario are endless! Better to suspect somethings up and be wrong (miss out on a few hours of lust) than to be led by the flesh and be drawn into a situation you can never get out of...
