I remember fighting against the accusations of “rape culture” some 20 years ago.
“Nobody supports rape, that’s why it’s a crime, and has an extremely negative connotation.”
Little did I know how bad the problem was.
Seeing the abusers get pushed out into the light and having to try and normalize what they were doing is very heartening.
Let us all pray both that the abusers keep losing, and that they get right with God now, because time is getting short.
Thankfully.
I’m sorry to anyone who was crying out for help without crying out for help. I couldn’t understand what you were trying to say.

That’s because the loonies were trying to incriminate normal people and normal behavior. Radical feminists said crazy things like “all penis-in-vagina intercourse is rape” and that normal, respectful, law-abiding heterosexual men were the ones who maintained a “rape culture”. There really wasn’t a mainstream American rape culture, it was in the margins: shadowy elites with their rituals and black mail acquiescence, border coyotes assaulting migrants, or street walking psychos targeting the vulnerable. All normal people opposed that marginal behavior.
How many of them were living in that culture you just named?
These people we are seeing now didn’t come from nowhere.
It also wasn’t just elites. There was plenty of hook-up culture and lowlife activity going on in cities fifteen years ago. It just didn’t seem like it was as widespread as it has to have been for us to be here.

That’s exactly why I was arguing with them on it.
Here’s the thing though..
