I have added a Nitter add-in to my Firefox browser and it converts Twitter links without me even noticing.

Brave calls them extensions. Click the little puzzle-looking icon top right. It's there next to the 'show sidebar' and 'wallet' icons. Then you go to manage extensions and find 'Nitter Redirect' and add it.
