Haha, sorry. There's an old Canadian comedy show called Corner Gas. In the very first episode, the character of Hank says, 'that's a valid inquiry.' I wondered if you were referencing him. It is / was a yuge show in Canada and if you've never seen it, I'd recommend it for light entertainment.
