It's more of a conspiracy to think that the British military only has what it publicly lists than to think it has a couple of warehouses of excess weapons that could include AKs.
Trusting in the plan doesn't mean believing in any old nonsense. The British army doesn't have warehouses of odd weapons. And they definitely aren't driving around handing them out to people.

Just because the their army doesn't officially use AK's doesn't mean they don't have them in inventory.
If you think the British Army has boxes of AKs lying around and hands them out to people then you need to give your head a shake
