Tough point. At what point are we burying our heads in the sand and pretending everything is beautiful vs seeing evils that cannot be unseen and can damage our spirit?
Do we actually want what the overseers are pushing? Full control and censureship of information and narratives? That sounds like way too many liberals I know. That allows evil to flourish unabated. That can not be allowed and I hope that is why we are all here.
I think common courtesy is the answer. The NSFW tag for instance. If you click it then that is on you. You were warned. Continue to provide a heads up if you are posting rough content. Let the viewer decide if they need a dose of reality that may be difficult to handle
I don't think anybody here is pretending everything is beautiful. Perhaps they just want the right to decide for themselves what they are constantly exposed to. It's not too much to ask. I like your suggestion of common courtesy and warnings.
