I’d actually be almost interested to see that play out. The Taiwanese have been war gaming and stocking up for such a confrontation for years.
The Air Campaign to soften up the island alone is projected to be a bloodbath with the amount of AA ordnance and weapon systems the Taiwanese allegedly have saved up.
And the Chinese have, at least according to reports coming out of China, been going through a massive amount of unrest and economic uncertainty. Not to mention reports of Military issues, Equipment concerns and corruption investigations.
Unless they’re sitting on some BS super weapon. An invasion would be an interesting challenge to see them confront.
i would put money on the fact that the 3 gorges dam has targets painted all over it....
