This is the UK. The rapists are a protected class. The UK barristers follow the guidelines of Sharia for rape. The barrister hears it, is horrified by it, then can do nothing to stop it.
For the last several decades the native populations of the UK have been at the bottom of the totem pole for education, justice, careers, healthcare, et al. It is up to the mothers and fathers to protect their children, but of course they and their children are indoctrinated to be nice to "betters". and hence are vulnerable to abuse.
I refuse to believe quitting their job is the only thing they could do. Cowardice
