Ah gotcha.... I've always gotten a pic of X being pretty out there radical; wasn't he literally a black supremacist?
So long as he doesn't hate whites, I could care less.
IDK WTF to make of MLK.....there's definitely a lot of unsavory aspects to his character, including that at one point he became / identified as an outright communist / socialist......but I'm just not sure.
X initially actually wanted separation from whites. He was kind of GAW before it was cool. Wanted nothing to do with the white man's drugs, liquor, women. Talked about media lies fake news and Jewish oppression.
He advocated being sent back to Africa and separate from white society. He was more supremacist before he went on the Hajj. That experience showed him brotherly love albeit in Islam between all races. His tone was starting to change when he came back and then shit popped off with Elijah Muhammed and he got excommunicated and then Farrakhan may have been involved in getting him whacked with gov help of some kind.
I've listened to hours and hours of his speeches and read the Autobiography several times. He was nothing like what media and our history teachers sold him as And it was that initial presentation that got me into him back in the early 90s
Malcolm X after Mecca was starting to develop a much more loving and inclusive worldview but they whacked him.
I've always seen MLK as a proto-Sharpton who just didn't live long enough to make a career out of race-pimping

Damn, well that's great to hear! I'll have to read up on him more....
I came away really liking the guy and his arc of personal development and wishing he had lived longer
