The vaccine was supposed to be mandatory. Operation Warp Speed allowed Trump to enable emergency use authorization.

Operation Warp Speed saved us all.

Sadly, the biggest victims were the elderly who were raised to think that a man says what he means and means what he says and didn't spend time online, looking for clues to understand what Trump really meant when he claimed to get the shot and was constantly singing its praises.
