Reminds me of a cartoon in the aftermath of terrorists taking over a theater in Russia and the Russians used some sort of gas prior to storming the place and a whole bunch of the hostages died. It went something like: 32 terrorists dead. 85 hostages dead, Mission accomplished!

In this case, there should be serious discussions about "likely death rates" on the "alternate white hat strategies", and what makes the current option "the best possible one"??
I mean, does the cabal really have such terrifying blackmail material, that letting 17 million people die is a better option than making arrests??
