Can someone answer this for me?
I saw individuals counting pieces of pink paper. Was the Iowa caucuses done without machines and on paper counted by humans? Did they do this for every County? Is this how they do it every year?
yes, you sign-in on the precinct sheet & they give you the pastel paper. each piece of paper had your precinct number on it. then when it came time to vote, we wrote our candidates name on it. and then they counted the votes. it was done in less than an hour. Iowans are fair, so when people took too much time speaking for their candidate, etc, the crowd points it out. so there's NO way for anyone to cheat.

Yes. Hand counted in front of anyone/everyone who wanted to watch. The way it should be
Was this how it's done every Caucus or was it new process?
