Look up EcoFreeze. It's an R22, plug-compatible refrigerant. Doesn't need any license to get it, because its 98% -------- PROPANE.

I know somebody ;-) who has been running this in his AC systems for years. But now it doesn't seem to be available. Looks like they got to them, but the website is still there:
