I have noticed in the last year that the MSM has been quietly and subtly referring to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, as MIGRANTS which is actually wrong, inaccurate and deceitful. It is intended to make more Americans accept the less harsh sounding word "MIGRANT" instead of calling them what they really are, ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, which is the TRUTH. It is really starting to annoy me when Patriots are unknowingly repeating the same lie.
An immigrant is one whom LEGALLY applied for citizenship in the the target country in which they wish to live, then moves to that country. While an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT is one that attempts to move to a desired country secretly, covertly and without permission from the host country, then settles there ILLEGALLY.
A true MIGRANT is someone whom moves from one place to another in their native country.
In other words, when a person leaves his native country of Mexico and enters the United States intending to work and live there without permission, he is called an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT. While an American Citizen that moves from one State to another to settle, he is a MIGRANT. For example if I am living in Texas as a true United States Citizen and I then decided to move to Florida, as a new resident, I would be called a MIGRANT.
A person that comes from Mexico and has a GREEN CARD, has permission to work in the United States legally but must return to Mexico when their work is complete within the same year. These people are usually referred to as Seasonal Workers and NOT MIGRANTS.
Words mean things and are specific. As such, beware of being misled by your government and the MSM into thinking that an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT is a MIGRANT, they are NOT the same.
