true story...

one day i see a flood of posts about

"How anti-vaccine people believe this fake news story entitled FBI RAIDS CDC"

so i start looking at this story, and it looks somewhat legit, as far as linking to sources, etc...

so then I'm at a pro-vaccine blog, and it links to its "sources"...

i click on the link, to see where it takes me...

and what i discovered was, that it was basically it was set up like this,

blog A cites blog B,

blog B cites blog C,

blog C cites blog D,

...

blog X cites blog Y,

blog Y cites blog Z,

blog Z cites blog A...

it was this long, elaborate circle jerk of circular logic...

so when i dug even deeper, to see where this story actually originated,

i discovered it was written by Sorcha Faal, who was already well-known to me as producer of fake news...

but it got me wondering, what was Sorcha Faal's motive for producing this fake story?

the motive, as far as i could tell, was to give something for the pro-vaccine blogs to "debunk",

while also causing a massive forum slide for anything related to the CDC...
