Step 1. Have a statement of truth. Step 2. Deliver truthful statement humorously. Step 3. Share with friends and laugh.

You can see how all three of these things are stumbling blocks for the left.

Exactly what I came here to say. Jokes are funny because they contain truth --- they're relatable which means they have to be grounded to a degree in reality all of which --- like you said --- the left does not operate in.
