I've been in a situation where electric was out for 10 days in sweltering heat {hurricane Charlie}

Let's just say it was getting a bit mad max-like towards the end.

I can see some of the hopelessly asleep starting to wake with “disease X.” I’ve heard “no mask for me!” from a few of them at work. This is starting to get interesting!

After "Andrew" 1992. 46 days no power, 3 days no water, 76 days no phone ( no cell phones then),NG, curfew & lots more.
