Acts 7:43 "Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon."
Their God is Remphan. I believe in other cultures the hexagram star was for Saturn (or Satan), so I would guess Remphan is a synonym.
David is never recorded as raising a star idol, but the unbelieving, antichrist Jews are in both new and old testaments. I believe calling the hexagram "the star of David" is a harsh slander of David.
Remphan was the subject of idolatrous worship mentioned by Stephen at the time of his death in the New Testament Book of Acts 7:43. It is presumed by Biblical scholars to be the same as Kiyyun or Chiun, mentioned in Amos 5:26. Wikipedia
The star of Remphan, also called the star of Solomon, refers to the god "Saturn," which was brought to the Jewish people after the promiscuity of Solomon with which he married many wives and turned his face away from that of God as they engaged in idolatry (1st Kings 11 vs. 7 - 8). https://www.meredithgould.com/star-of-remphan/
Remphan [H] [S] ( Acts 7:43 ; RSV, "Rephan"). In Amos 5:26 the Heb. Chiun (q.v.) is rendered by the LXX. "Rephan," and this name is adopted by Luke in his narrative of the Acts. These names represent the star-god Saturn.... https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/remphan/
I agree. There were two different types of Jews in Christ's day. "Those who heard him gladly". Then there the ones who fought against and saw to Christ's crucifixion. These Jews were not Israelites as they admitted in John 8 and Christ basically told them. They were of Esau/Edom. By the way, Edom is in modern Jewry. Edom makes up between 3-9% of today's Jews. 90-97% are from grandchildren of Japheth.
I think what Christ is getting at in John 8 is that even though the Pharisees may have Abraham as their physical ancestor, the true descendants of Abraham are anyone who has the faith of Abraham. That is why he says ~"God could raise up descendants for Abraham from these rocks."
The Pharisees mostly likely don't have Satan as a physical ancestor, but Jesus calls Satan their father, because they follow the path of rebellion against God that Satan pioneered.
I think evidence that many of these people who rejected Jesus are physical descendants of Jacob/Israel is John 1:11. "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him."
Hi, What you say is commonly taught in today's churches. It is the churches way of looking at the world and trying to make the bible fit the world they see. To understand God it is better to make the world fit the bible. It does help to have the right people in the correct roles though. Here is the logical equivalent statement of Galatians 3:29. "If ye be not Abraham's seed, or not heirs according to the promise, then ye are not Christ's." The modern day Jews are not, and have never been, God's Israel people as proven by the bible, history and even Jewish writings. Many of those living in Judea at the time of Christ were of Edom. Here is a little more literal translation of John 1:11 "He came into His own land, and the men of the country received Him not." In John 8 those who Christ said were of their father the devil admitted they were not Israelites. They were of Esau/Edom. Edom is in modern Jewry and as God says, He will be at war with them for ever.
But how would that teaching reconcile, with Paul in Romans 11? He says he is an Israelite of the tribe of Benjamin, then in verse 14 he talks about how he is trying to save some of his brethren, the ones who are the ones in disbelief.
He also calls the Jews, the majority of whom are currently in disbelief, a "natural olive branch". He says that at a later time, the natural olive branch will be grafted in again. Presumably meaning that the majority of this same Jewish people will believe.

One of saturns symbols. Of all known planets, Saturn was the planet furthest from the light.
