I think the park area is a distraction; there are holes along the highway where can and trucks can be driven through, full of invaders and their luggage. Nobody questions how these guys arrive with a small bag or nothing in their hands, yet have a bunch of personal items and multiple sets of clothes and shoes that fit perfectly once they're in shelters.
