Legalese is important; drivers paid to transport cargo and passengers have different rules than sovereign citizens who freely travel the roads. I thought it was hokey until I accidentally stumbled across separate sets of rules on federal safety requirements for drivers and citizens traveling. I read and re-read them and finally realized these guys are very probably right.
Never heard of a single case being successfully defended with the "I'm not driving, I'm traveling" bullshit.
Traveling IS a right, you can walk your happy ass anywhere in America. Riding with a licensed driver, ride the bus, train, airplane. or even ride a bicycle. IT IS YOUR RIGHT and I fully support that.
Get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle without a license, registration, and insurance, you could and should go to jail. Most of the sovcit morons who are stopped and found in violation of these laws could walk away with a ticket but it appears to me they are more interested in causing chaos than standing on their rights.
The thing that really pisses me off is they are sometimes called or claim to be Constitutionalists. As someone who believes in the the Constitution, I find that very insulting.
Okay, set aside your emotions for a brief minute- I've seen it successful. Nice young black man had a vid out there where he politely and eloquently won over the judge. I've seen a couple more, and the politeness was key. I've seen plenty where the belligerence dooms them. Anyway, I used to believe in all the things but now, after having been crashed into by uninsured illegals and uninsured urban citizens and having my own insurance cover without letting us sue anyone... Well, I understand now that insurance is a scam, licensing and registration are tax and control scams and there needs to be change. Putting petty tyrants in control of our liberties isn't right. And it appears to be that in the actual legal framework, it doesn't exist- which is, hear me out, exactly why the elite ALWAYS GET OFF SCOTT FREE.
Politeness keeps defendants from going to jail for contempt and also tends to make judges inclined to allow them to present their ramblings without interruption. I too have seen eloquence and respectful presentations, but VERY few. In none of the cases did the arguments win over any judge I have seen on legal merits. It merely resulted in easing the penalties as would have just as well been served by a respectful conference with the prosecutor for a plea deal.
Licensing, registration, and insurance are necessary controls which should be enforced stringently. Your experience is a perfect example of why.
Your other points are well taken, but the reality is, it is not the legal system at fault, but corruption in high office. Elections have consequences and bogus elections destroy.
