Used to be, but we know better now. I am a retired RN. Health care started a nose dive around 1990 when the emphasis changed from patient focus to money focus. My hospital would send out surveys to patients, me being one of them sometimes. They wanted to know how they could improve. Lol. When I gave honest answers about cleanliness and patient care, did I ever hear back? No! Despite having my personal and work emails, cell phone, home phone, work phone numbers, zero response. They only want to hear the positives and then want to quote you, photograph you=use you. Doctors and nurses are robots these days, they do what they are told, don’t want to think for themselves. The nurses become lazier every year. It is all about the money.
There’s a reason why I chose to give birth at a birthing center last year. In total, we paid around 2k. For ALL of it. I then chose to take my placenta home and give it back to nature (i.e., the animals lol) cause there was NO WAY the medical establishment was going to possibly profit 50K+ off of something I made.

And the move to call patients “clients” is such a corporate America move
