I have posted this in the General thread, but I was advised to spin this off into its own thread, after fleshing it out some more. As I said then: I am getting a bad feeling that this whole Taylor Swift stupidity is a trap to damage Q/MAGA.
Brett Cooper just posted a new commentary video just now, talking about this controversy with Taylor Swift. She also gave her opinion that the attacks from the Right/MAGA against Taylor Swift might be a suicide mission, especially in terms of optics. It is probably a devil's advocate video on why we should chill out on Taylor Swift. You may see the video here:

I really suggest watching the video. However, if you are on short on time, here is a choice quote from her video that should help summerize the points:
But back to the point: how does slandering and demonizing Taylor Swift help our cause when so many young women love her and are influenced by her? Lauren Southern made a good and scary point and she said "She's going to swing leftward harder than ever before (obviously because politics is typically pushed by how alienated you feel by one side) and then everyone's going to take a Victory lap for 'calling' their own self fulfilling prophecy and will remain perplexed by female far-left swing." That's not really a world that I want to live in but if we keep going on the path that we're headed down it might just happen.
We do not have to idolize Taylor Swift. I'm not telling everybody that you need to be fans of her, or you need to love her. We should not idolize her, but attacking her in the way that we are is just punching down and it is a terrible campaign strategy just let it be because in the grand scheme of things she is not a bad influence. (My note: Brett then goes on listing other Satanic musicians like Meg Thee Stallion, Sam Smith, Doja Cat, and the rest of them)
What is even more intriguing are the comments to the video:
To me, this just seems like a stupid battle for Republicans. It's true for literally any famous musician....if they have a large influence and a predominantly young fanbase, then of course their political beliefs will influence their fanbases. Especially when they're super young and impressionable. Why are they fixating so much on Taylor Swift specifically? Maybe instead of constantly complaining about famous celebs leaning left, create some genuinely beautiful and right-wing art to have more conservative celebs in the spotlight.
I think this whole Taylor Swift situation is getting blown completely out of proportion. ||| its the Republican curse. every single time we gain ground with normal people, some idiots fuck it all up by attacking things the average person loves and calling it an op or saying it's demonic ||| religious conservatives are responsible for most of that, they were the biggest reason why I never supported conservatives before the woke/sjw movement pushed normal liberals like me away from the left. I'm pretty socially conservative these days but I still cannot stand religious conservatives though.
I am a die-hard Chiefs fan, Travis Kelce is one of my favorite players, but I have absolutely no interest in Taylor Swift other than the fact that she makes my favorite player happy. But these whole conspiracy stories are stupid and frankly becoming predictable. Omg, people need to quit worrying about things that really have no concern to them. And it doesn't matter, what would be the whole point anyway? Just as you said, she's going to vote for Biden more than likely and endorsed him. Who cares? Nobody I know is going to base their vote on who she endorses. It's just another way to raise views and all that and frankly it's extremely destructive to the right
So glad to see someone talking about how bad the Republicans can be when it comes to engaging with young people, especially young women. Unless this turns around, and fast, we will permanently loose a huge portion of the voting population for years to come, and it will do significant damage to our country. -a Gen Z girl Conservative
Me? I don't care about Taylor Swift nor NFL at all, any more than the average person here on GAW (I'm more interested in classic rock, harder rock, heavier metal, and synthwave). My current mission is to get Trump into office and get the Satanists punished for the hell they put us through. However, I am concerned that our fixation on Taylor Swift is hindering that mission by turning away potential recruits and driving them into the Demonic Rat's/GlobalHomo/Satan's open arms. While it is fun to dunk on the enemy's celebrities, we should not let that get in the way of our mission. If it will hinder us, then we should stop doing it...
So: thoughts? Is this whole mess with Taylor Swift destroying the Great Awakening? I am asking because I know you all love to rag on Taylor Swift as of the late. And while it is fun within our safe space here, I worry that it is undermining or undoing the Great Awakening process and hurting Trump's chances.
Also, the worst thing you can do to an artist is to ignore them and to deny them publicity, not attack them and feed them publicity. If we really want to hurt Swift, ignore her, don't listen to her music, don't talk about her any more than it is necessary...
The problem here isn’t that Taylor Swift is left wing.
The problem is that there is a clear inflection point at which Taylor Swift turned from an apolitical singer for everyone, and turned into a left wing mouthpiece blindly endorsing the left wing regime. And ended up, conveniently enough, dating another very popular left wing owned celebrity who appeals to a distinctly separate audience (football fans).
The whole relationship, and Swift and Kelce’s whole careers, are currently owned and engineered by the left to manipulate the public. Not just because the dems bought them financially, but because their entire careers have been threatened and held ransom by the left if they don’t comply.
That’s what the issue here is, and that’s what people like me are so eager to point out. Calling this “another wild conspiracy theory” is just playing their game for them — like most other Q aligned theories, this one has clear merit and evidence.
All that said, I do agree that pursuing it right now, with normies, is a lost cause.
Just as arguing with normies on vaccines was a lost cause, and trying to expose George Floyd as a drug addict was a lost cause, and a myriad of other issues.
There is little chance that we can say or do anything to convince a normie they are being lied to. They just have to experience it for themselves.
So sure, discuss it amongst ourselves, but don’t approach normies with it. Don’t expect to be able to show them how Swift’s endorsement of Biden is bought and paid for, hope only that they can see the hypocrisy for themselves once they are ready.
Not always. I got some traction with some people.
