I remember the quickly printed yard signs “Yourtown STRONG” we will get the rough this together bullshit that seemed coordinated.
Everyone immediately put up plexiglass and hand washing stations and little signs everywhere.
Ridiculous.
How about 'A Hero Lives Here' in yards where doctors and nurses lived....
Someone in my neighborhood painted small rocks with 'encouraging' messages and left them at the neighborhood mailboxes. "Well get through this together". I should have painted them red with 'Eat the red pill' in white.
I sure wish I'd invested in plexiglass at the start of all this.
