Normally there is some event that causes things like the Great Barrier Reef declining. Makes you wonder what did cause it. It wasnt rising ocean temps. Was it polition? Radiation? A natural cycle?

See how they never really get to root cause. Not in any meaningful fasion. Because they want to bring it back in a few decades. "Climate change is BACK"

There were two periods of over a million years each when the entire planet was covered in ice. They call it "snowball Earth". I think that pretty much throws the evolution theory out the window. Most of Earth's history, it's CO2 levels were in the thousands of ppm. Life didn't go extinct and we didn't cause it. We're not going to kill the planet but we can certainly cause most species to go extinct if we use up all the surface area.
