Is the average woman a ballerina or gymnast? I am talking about the average non athletic woman.
You really think that cabal has nothing to do with norms, ideas and science relating to weight and fitness? Obviously it is your passion but the rhetorics in current society are much more harmful than a woman being mid or plus size. HAES and "fat liberation" are niche ideas that normies do not follow but look at what happened with "legging legs" on tiktok
I don't know what the normal woman is anymore. But I do know that people like and want to imagine they are that person in the poster, movie or sitcom.
"Whom do you identify with" is the question whenever you watch a movie. Am I the tough boss? The softie school teacher? The girl next door? Or, the crotchety busybody that everyone avoids. If you can't identify with any of the characters in some small way, you will lose interest and turn it off.
Hopes and dreams sell. That's why women buy makeup, get their hair and nails done, etc. They want to look their best, their prettiest, and buy things that make them feel that way. Model photos (if done right) allow one to imagine they are that girl or guy - still young, healthy and carefree, even if they never were such things.
I certainly do not want to identify with the trans obese couple or the effeminate boy with the painted nails. I want to imagine that I am young again and fit and that there are still pretty girls and handsome young men who are out and about saving the day and doing good things.
This is the whole playbook for romance novels, Hallmark movies, etc. Pretty girl meets handsome guy. Romance ensues.
