Do you know what a bigot is? Where the word comes from?

Bi got became a saying because the Catholics monks and priets were prone to say: by God, in the same vein as By Jove, by the Gods, etc.

A bigot actually is a religious zealot perpetrating unspeakable horrors on people not wishing to entertain or subordinate themselves to those zealots. A bigot then is a member of the cult of ultimate evil; obedient to perceived authority of someone else, usually with a funny hat.
