They are all lunatics that do everything to better themselves. Everyone else is in the way. His late waife probably found out and didnt approve of his lifestyle, but the new one would. The kids were either lucky to be alive, or not cause he sure as shit raped his daughter. The son, who knows, but he is fucked in the head aswell.
