We saw this is available on Netflix but we're so jaded and afraid to click it fearing they will slip in lots of propaganda..cos they're so damn sneaky like that, and we have no taste for the millions of films available freely on stream anymore.

I think it's still better to just read The Bible to know the story and watch The Passion by Mel Gibson or some really old Bible movies made in the 70s or earlier.

There’s no propaganda. It’s one of the best biblical series I’ve seen. I’m not comparing it to The Passion of Christ because it’s just different. The Chosen is getting to know Jesus as a person and a small glimpse of his life on earth with his desciples. I can’t watch biblical shows from the 70s it’s so fake. I believe the 70s was a great era but not every thing was better. The playing of dramatic music turns me off also. We all know what we like. I believe The Chosen can reach people that would not be interested in the Bible and knowing God.
