If you have a moment, please pray for my friend Theresa (Teri) who passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday. She has been ill with many ailments for a long time and got a bad case of pneumonia during Christmas. She wasn’t healthy enough to have Christmas dinner with my family so the wife and I got to see her when we brought her a homemade meal instead.

Teri has been a second mother to me for over 30 years as I’ve been very close friends of her two children just as long. Although she had no history of heart problems, it appears that she had a massive heart attack and passed quickly. Fortunately, my friend was there with her and brought the paramedics in to help before she lost consciousness.

Although she didn’t have any grandchildren, she treated my 3 boys as if they were her’s. She would spoil my kids with gifts every holiday and birthday and often showed up with homemade food for everyone.

Sadly, her family all signed up for the Massachusetts “VaxMillions” program, but I don’t know if she ever got any boosters. Her husband passed away 25 years ago when he was only 50, so her children are now thrust into a role they don’t know how to handle. My wife and I are helping anyway we can as we defiantly met them at the hospital yesterday to provide comfort and support. Thankfully we were there to help as they were still in a state of shock and weren’t thinking clearly.
