Trump losing immunity is a major precedent in devolution. If the supreme court rules in favor of immunity loss for Trump, it leaves all of the DS open for legal reprisal by military tribunal publicly.

I think this has more nuance than binary. I think that the SCOTUS will rule on the side of no immunity. However, that will not apply to treason or sedition. Nor will it apply to state level crimes. Just Federal crimes will have immunity.
This does two things. 1. Holds past Presidents accountable for treason and sedition as well as others like MSM. 2. Lets states with standing to bring charges too.
Finally, treason and sedition are not pardonable and do not have a statute of limitations.
