I wonder why Putin doesn't speak in English when he's dealing with western leaders and media. He speaks English pretty well and was even an interpreter for a short time himself. He speaks Russian, German, & English. You may remember the MSM having a breakdown when Trump and Putin met with no translators for part of their meeting when Trump was in office. I think it would make him more likable by the west if he chose to speak English.

Putin is speaking to his people as well as the rest of the world. He and his people made it clear the full interview would be on Putin's webpage with a Russian and English version available.
