This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.

I said to my wife, "What's next, Irish national anthem, Polish national anthem?" Are we going to take every ethnic/cultural group in America and have a national anthem for them? MLKjr would be disgusted if he were still alive!

Thank goodness I’m not watching that junk. I don’t understand why things like this is being promoted. I don’t care what your race is, only the American national anthem should be sung at a sporting event, period! I can’t get into the mindset of the people that expect this. I swear I believe they do it to start a divide between people.
That’s exactly it. Honest everyday people do not care about all that garbage. That is the intent, to cause dissension among one another. I sure hope that people waking up enough to see this for what it is. I have no intention of wasting my time watching it, but I appreciate everybody giving little crumbs about what’s going on for me.
