So, we have a lady in red playing a red piano with a clear top. She gets up, and starts "flirting" with a man in white before she exits stage and the man in white goes to center stage, with a clock ticking down to midnight before being engulfed in flames.
The mechanisms for evil (red piano with a clear top) are plainly revealed, and the "good" people (man in white) have been flirting with the agent of evil (lady in red) while this is revealed. Evil exits while good takes center stage, with the clock ticking down to midnight before being engulfed (change of the times, destruction of the old).
Might be a warning (stop flirting with clear evil while there is still time, lest you follow in their removal/destruction). Just my thoughts.
Volkswagen does have a plant here in the US. Also all the Nazi Scientists and military educators/Strategists were planted undercover here (Op Paper Clip). And we were certainly fools to accept them. Though I must admit I’ve owned 3 VWs and they’re comfy and good vehicles. Best seat heaters too. Kek!
Wasn't Volkswagen recently in trouble for faking their emissions controls on their vehicles?
Yes, I got a killer deal on my GTI due to the diesel thing. Basically their software could tell when it was in the EPA test loop (or just being tested period?) vs being driving normally, IIRC. And again, IIRC, it was high levels at drive-by testing things (like we have in CO so you don't have to go in for emissions testing) that caught them.
Yeah someone I know made out real good on that deal.... had the car for a few years, the buy back deal was at least what they paid for it
Me too, a totally insufferable loser at my old job had a TDI and used the proceeds to pay for like 2/3 of a Golf R.
Why yes, yes they were. I thought it was funny out of all companies, VW attempts to give the middle finger to the Climate Idiots. Kek!
Kek gotta a mechanic who knows how to coax her so it gonna be okay. Kek!!!
Seat heaters, nope not always, at least in my case (2016 car)... mine take long enough that (because of rapid-heat exhaust for emissions these days) they are getting warm just before the coolant is. My lady-friend's CR-V (of all things) they are basically instant. (My previous car, 2013 Forester, was not as good as the Honda but much closer to it than the VW.)
Haha, Yes I know VW tried to cheat the Climate Idiots on their smog controls. I actually thought it was funny the Germans tried to give the idiots a middle finger. Kek!
But they really do have awesome seat heaters. And of course due to Germany being much colder year around than here in the US. For a dude like me with lower back nerve damage, that heat theirs puts out is mighty nice/comfy. 😁
I guess for me "awesome" includes "ready before the heater is" so I'm not sure if you missed that part or what
BTW - as I said not in all cases but apparently they've fixed the issue since 2016. VW is running a great deal right now (1.9% for 48 mos) plus $500 rebate so I got a base Tiguan (can't stand the touch HVAC controls, don't need the other stuff from S to SE - the one weakness is the seats but a lumbar pillow should suffice). And DANG these things match the CR-V's.
It's also weird btw - C/D's review of the thing is favorable but found issue with the performance - it's certainly adequate and with way less racket than the CR-V, even the latest version, when you are on it. I'll probably still get a tune but it's not the must-do-immediately thing I was under the impression it would be.
