Evidence and witnesses subpoenaed at the senate trial could be interesting and could lead to more impeachments which could lead to more subpoenas and so on…

The Democrats are not going to vote to call witnesses. They're going to vote to dismiss summarily and likely have the support of "Republicans" like Mitt Romney and Susan Collins.
