I had it growing up on a dairy farm. Some of my happiest childhood memories.
In the state of WA, we were able to get it. You have to order and they delivered to the closest organic farm and you pick it up. They tried very hard to shut it down but love raw milk. Now I am in Midwest and not seeing any.
the nation thrived on it until the gubmint decided it was to dangerous... and why should we listen to them??? we're the most food regulated country on the planet and the most unhealthy per capita!! it's about damn time people wake up!
Raw milk, raw honey are also great stuff. If you never had raw honey, use it. It resolves many problems. I just told my hygienist today the raw honey property. She has no idea about it.
Just need to continue educating people.
I keep seeing info that raw milk can cause life threatening bacterial infection. I want to try it for the health benefits and want to know if the risk is overblown or not.
Pasturized milk turns the molecules into carcinogens. Raw milk removes toxins from your system and is extremely good for the enzymes it has for digestion. I've been drinking raw milk since 2009.
Nice. No wonder I love the raw milk.
overblown. I love raw milk. Just like raw honey, it's wholesome and good.
Ah, no thank you. Grew up on it. Much prefer homogenized. Skim milk with bits of whipping cream floating around in it isn't my cuppa. Sorry.
I understand what you are saying. It's different.
My Dad tells stories of how he and his siblings would fight on milk delivery days to be the one that got to eat the hard buttermilk that formed on top.
We still had our milk delivered to us in the 70s when I was a wee lad. It wasnt raw milk though. At least I dont think it was. I remember chasing the milkman around in the summer hoping he would give us a chunk of ice off the big blocks he had in back of the truck.
Good o'l day.
Delicious!!
Yes. Going back to the old way for food.
