Why couldn't you just install it where the cold water line starts in the house so it's filtered to every faucet in the house? Shower, kitchen sink, bath tub, bathroom sink, outside spigots, etc.
I just do the undersink RO system and shower filters. Your drinking water is what really matters. I don't like ingesting fluoride. RO is only thing that removes it.
Filtering toilet water, clothes washer, etc is silly.
I thought RO was the only thing as well but clearly filtered does not use RO however a 3 stage filter process. So I don't have to add anything back to the water. Granted it says it removes 97.3% of the Flouride where I would assume RO would remove 100%.
How do you like yours and what is your process for adding minerals back?
You can really use any. RO membranes in combo with 3 filters get rid of everything. It does readd minerals back but removes all the crap out of tap water.
I have a artesian system from theperfectwater.com around 300 plus the permeable pump so closer to 400. Filter change every year to 2 years. RO membrane change every 5-7 years. A new 4 to 5 gallon tank every 8 years. I had same system for 15 years now.
As for shower filters anything not made in china. I swap out every 4 to 6 months.
You can buy these but as the person below said having a separate shower and drinking filter I find is more economical. And also for this design from clearly filtered, installing an under sink design inline with the waterline for the rest of the house would significantly decrease water pressure as it's a 1/4inch in and out on it.

Ya that's big bucks.
