Three unrelated issues that have each been the subject of waves of misinformation in recent years have been combined to make one absurd falsehood on social media.
The three issues are transgender identity, vaccination and abortion.
Conservative, anti-vaccine influencers have been spreading the false claim that common childhood vaccines are causing gender dysphoria in youth because the vaccines contain DNA from aborted fetuses that may have been the opposite sex of the vaccine recipient. Gender dysphoria is the distress felt by some transgender individuals since their sex assigned at birth doesn’t match their gender identity.
“I think it’s time we investigate the epigenetic influence aborted fetal tissue has on the developing nervous system regarding gender dysphoria,” said one post.
“Where did this explosion of gender dysphoria come from? 20 years ago it was virtually non-existent,” asked another, before claiming, “vaccines with opposing gender DNA…people need to wake up!”
But vaccines don’t contain DNA that would affect the recipient’s development, and gender dysphoria isn’t caused by the shots.
“It really is a ridiculous, ridiculous assertion,” said Dr. Paul Offit, a vaccine expert and pediatrician at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
People ingest foreign DNA all the time, he said.
“If you eat a steak, you don’t turn into a cow,” Offit said in a phone interview. “You don’t start acting like a cow.”
- Ok, notice how Paul Offit disingenuously made the absurd argument comparing eating meat, and injecting vaccines with adjuvants and "trace amounts" of human DNA.
The fear expressed in this theory — that vaccination will alter a person’s nature — is the same fear that people have had since vaccines were first introduced in 1796.
At that time, British caricaturist James Gillray satirized the idea that people were worried the cowpox virus used in the inoculation against smallpox would turn people into cows (cartoon shown at right on website).
- This is classic vaccine cult playbook.
They accuse anyone who doesn't wan't to take the vaccine, as being afraid of needles,
They deliberately mischaracterize your beliefs, and then attack those mischaracterizations.
They call this a straw-man argument.
They want to get ahead of the vaccine debate, and preemptively frame any opposition in the most absurd ways possible.
what they don't wan't is a long, deliberate conversation about what anti-vaxxers "really" think...
“The logic of that is the same as the logic of this,” Offit said, comparing it to the falsehood that vaccines made using opposite-sex cells would result in gender dysphoria for the vaccine recipient.
Even here, Paul Offit seems to be deliberately mis-framing the debate.
How?
By omitting over half of the argument.
There is some very important background info and context that it is imperative for the reader to be aware of.
First of all, YES, They REALLY DO Use Cells From Aborted Fetuses To Make Vaccines.
Even as a so-called anti-vaxxer, i routinely dismissed any claims about human DNA or aborted fetal cells, because it just sounded so crazy that it just had to be bullshit...
In my mind, i would imagine that the logistics of obtaining cells from aborted fetal cells, and somehow secretly getting them into the exact lot number that went in my arm, seemed like too much trouble for anyone to bother with...
But then later i learned that they really do use human cells to grow certain viruses, to make certain vaccines,
Some of these stem cell lines came from a male, and some from female,
AND if you have ever received any vaccine on a very long list of very common vaccines, theres a very good chance that you personally have had "trace amounts" of human DNA injected in you,
... with an adjuvant...
Indeed, if everyone reading this would research their own personal vaccine history, you could learn exactly which abortions the stem cells came from.
And you would also be horrified to discover that you, and almost everyone else you know, has been injected with human DNA from the exact same cell lines.
like, theres almost a 100% chance you have WI-38 and MRC-5 already injected into you right now, if you followed a standard childhood vaccine schedule.

The part that Paul Offit omitted, by disingenuously focussing on "cross-sex"...
Is that its not "just" cross-sex.
Here are the 4 possibilities:

therefore, what would be the expected immune response?

So these aren't merely "theoretical" questions.
This is the current practice, with vaccinations.
So, the pro-vaccine side would prefer to simply dismiss the entire argument, than to have to work out the details of
"exactly what would we expect to happen if...we injected an adjuvant, and human DNA into someone?"
The reason they say "theres no evidence", is because they have never gone looking for any evidence.
Quite honestly, i believe that these concepts have never even crossed their minds, and so therefore they didn't even know, that they didn't know.
They didn't have a good reason to go looking for evidence.
KEY CONCEPT:
these "trace amounts" of human DNA in vaccines, are directly responsible for a very long list of so-called "auto-immune diseases and disorders,
So YES, they really do use human stem cells from aborted fetuses to make vaccines,
BUT they also use
Chicken Eggs and
CHO (Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells)
and these two models are the key to understanding other models
Chicken Egg Model: You may have heard somewhere in a vaccine advert about people who have an allergy to chicken eggs shouldn't take this vaccine...
Because they use chicken eggs to produce some vaccines, some "trace amounts" of the chicken egg DNA or proteins, etc makes it into the final vaccine product, and injected into your body,
...along with an adjuvant...
so the person who gets injected, randomly develops a "chicken egg allergy", induced by a vaccine that contained chicken egg residue, and therefore they can't get any more vaccines that were made with chicken eggs.
CHO-PCOS model:
(CHO) Chinese Hamster OVARY Cells are one of the most widely used cells in vaccine production
(PCOS) Poly Cystic OVARY Syndrome is the most prevalent endocrine disorder in women.

KEY CONCEPT: model shows how ovary cells used in vaccine production, can cause an "auto-immune" disorder where the bodies immune system attacks the ovaries.
Doctors Baffled
this model also illustrates the obvious fact that "PCOS" only affects "people with ovaries" or as i like to call them, "females, women, and girls"
AND... because PCOS attacks the ovaries, in particular, it causes many female hormone dysfunctions,
AND... because women with PCOS are relatively higher on testosterone than estrogen, they legit do not experience life the same way as a "normal" woman with fully functional ovaries and normal hormones.
My sister has had PCOS for many decades. she had all the classic symptoms, if you care to look the up.
She recently "came-out" as non-binary, and i rolled my eyes...
But then the more i thought about it,...
I kinda get it. She doesn't really "feel" like a woman, the way other women feel like women.
She doesn't feel sexy. or beautiful.
and rightfully so...
She's not saying she's a man, per se...
only that she doesn't really feel like a woman,
which is probably true. and also very sad,
because i imagine that for most women, it feels great to be a woman,
and she's missing out on that experience.
And i blame the vaccines for causing PCOS.

its "Idiopathic" , or "Caused by Idiots"
