I wonder if CBS has a hidden clause in her contract saying all intellectual property belongs to them.
Isn't she currently being prosecuted for not revealing her sources? Or maybe she's facing prosecution, I don't remember but I read something about that after she was let go.
This- I have been in the industry for a bit of time. Anything that is stored on a corp device that touches the corp network is fair game, everything on that device is accessible by their IT department - processes. It's all scraped, backed up and archived.
