I think people just lost phone service, internet connection was still wotking.

Most blue collar people like me dont have internet while working though. Our phone is usually what keeps us connected. Mine was down until from 340am to 11am

A lot of people only browse from their phones and wouldn't go to a computer to get online if their mobile connection was lost.
