The vax push was done under threat of death due to job loss and unemployability.
A bluff in many cases. And even if not a bluff, imagine if there’s a hydrochloric acid mandate: “This acid is safe and effective. Drink it or lose your job.” Hopefully, enough people would think “well I choose losing my job then” that it would turn out that none of them lose their jobs because their universal refusal gets the mandate revoked.
We can't afford to take those risks.
