Dosed her yesterday morning. She spent most of the day on the couch sleeping on my wife.
Shes been drooling some grosse looking and rancid smelling drool. She would be licking it ofg her front leg like every 5 seconds. She wasnt drooling much at all.wasnt licking her leg much either.
There were hints of her rancid breath but you had to be really close tobher snoot to smell it.used to smell it across the room. Weve gotten a few whiffs of it this morning. But not even close to how bad its been for the last month.
The lump on her face has definately shrunk a bit.its about half the size it was when i started this.
Oh boy did she want to eat last night. My wife had some stew meat that she cooked up with some carrots, frozen peas and some other stuff. Put it in a blender to break up the big chunks of stew meat. She cant open her mouth more than about halfway and im sure its painful for her to chew. She slurped it right up and was looking for more!
She was feeling good last night. Back to being her normal pain in the ass self. I was not expecting much from this treatment. I sure wasnt expecting to see any changes for atleast a week if at all.i dont know if its killing the cancer or not but it is doing something. Im surprised and happy with the results so far so we will keep going with it and hope for the best.
Thank you everyone for the prayers, kind words and encouragement.
For those who havent seen the previous discussions. This is the treatment im trying. https://www.prairiedoghall.com/curing-my-dogs-cancer/
Shes a major pain in the ass.i wouldnt change it for anything.
She bullies my wife around. Its funny,my wife being bullied by a pit bull🤣🤣 she decides she wants my wifes spot on the couch she will sit there and snort and humph at her till she moves. 🤣🤣 shes spoiled rotten.
She’s a pit? I just lost mine in September of last year. Max was 15. One of the finest dogs around, if you raise them right. God bless you! I’m puttting up extra prayers for you.
Yup. I love pits! Shes my 2nd pit and i wont have any other breed.
We lost the last of our pack of 4 last summer. The last one to go was our 19 1/2 year old chihuahua. I wish I'd known my 15 year old yorkie had liver cancer because I would have done this in a heartbeat. I've been researching breeds to decide on our next pack. As hard as it is to lose them, my husband and I aren't ready to be completely dogless.
I'm so happy fenben is working so good for your furbaby! Keep giving us updates so we can see how it helps your pup. Also happy to hear she is being a pain in the ass, because that means she is starting to feel better. So happy for your bully baby! They can be pretty vocal when they want something, can't they? lol
It gives me hope that we will be able to heal our little nugget from either reaction to vaccines &/or from allergies. We also have a pitbull, a blue, and we hear that - that color has a lot of skin issues. We haven't tried ivermectin (even though I'd been wanting to) or fenben yet. The reason is I don't know what dose to give him, I don't want to overdose him and can't find a vet that will give me a dosage amount (idiots are just as scared as doctors are when it comes to ivermectin).
Our boy has had bumps all over his body, hives, ear infections and his paws are very swollen and has bumps in between his digits and on bottom of paws. His body is healing from the bumps now (hair growing back finally), thankfully hasn't had more hives lately but his paws are still bad though seem to be very slowly getting better.
We changed our dogs food, we don't feed them kibble anymore, we cook their food and give them supplements that seem to be helping both our dogs. We have large dogs with both weighing between 95-100 lbs each, so feeding them gets expensive, but it's worth it if they are healthier for it. We also were giving them a bunch of supplements someone told us to try, and then this person told us about detoxapet, so we've been using that for maybe 2 weeks now and we've noticed our nuggets skin healing a little quicker now, though I think the other supplements were working just slower. She suggested the detoxapet because it was so expensive and so many supplements to give them at every meal. Using just one supplement with many of the supplements in one powder is easier than putting a bunch on every meal. Also we add a few scoops of one of Dr. Harvey's products to their food as we are cooking it (it's not the way we are supposed to give it to them, but it's the way they will eat it), to help give them what we can't by just cooking some meat & vegs.
And our pups will never get another vaccine or allergy shot again! They will only be visiting the vet when absolutely necessary for issues we can't take care of ourselves, like if they get hurt or need surgery.
If you want to try the fenben. My dog is 80-90 pounds. Im giving 250mg a day. My vet said its safe and i could go higher if i want to.he said it wont hurt it. From what ive been reading here, overdose isnt a big deal. Make sure you give vitamin E with it. According to the instructions im using, vitamin E is needed to help absorb the fenben.
