When I see people as blessed as this guy pass away. I imagine what he is going thru right now. I believe it is right now but even if it is later. What will he say about his life? He was given so much. Did he do as the Lord would want or did he take his talent and use it for evil?
We know them by their fruit but only God can make a soul perceive their sin. This is an eternal question. It is a very sad question and every human from poor to rich will have to answer to in the future.
This person is answering right now and from what I have gathered about his blessed life, it is very sad. Jesus says He will wipe away every tear. I still wish we could recover those who will be in Hell for eternity.
I do see many people are predators and very evil. I do understand. Yet their reward that they deny while alive will be torment for eternity and that is still sad to perceive.
As I've grown older, it's become easier. The reason is because I've been the Lord's enemy, and I see more and more of my sin - more and more of my depravity. The only reason I love the Lord is because He plucked me up off the ash heap of depraved humanity. I know that left to my own devices, I'd be right there with the worst of the worst.
I understand your point. Still tough to do if you've realized several immediate family members lives have been cut short after torment due to this piece of work.
I often wonder the best place for disposal of such an evil being. Something volcanic comes to mind, except for that line from "Pirates of the Caribbean" where they point out being so evil that hell spat them back out. Maybe a SpaceX funeral procession to Mercury?
I'll be praying for good people waking up. I'm just not there yet to pray for someone like this that had so much at their disposal to help others and blew it so badly.
Acts 7:60 resonates with my outlook. When evil grins at us while using people as pawns. People might believe they are untouchable and nothing will ever hold them accountable. Eternity is a thing unknown. Does eternity expire?
When good people stand up with God and rebuke evil like we are intended to do. We will see evil attack and destroy themselves before our eyes. They who are evil hate light. Those who follow evil will jump ship at the every sight of exposure. Yet in this world we will always have evil. We will always have rich people incapable of seeing their humanity.
-And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.-

One of the hardest struggles is to pray for our enemies.
