Our infrastructures are run down and depressing compared to other countries. We, the USA, look 3rd World. We have generated enough wealth to have infrastructure as dazzling as that of Dubai. But we don't because we are slaves and support the megawealthy and the corrupt government that spends trillions of dollars a year on secret programs and sends more trillions to other countries as "aid" WHICH IS LAUNDERED BACK TO THE CORRUPT. What do you think, sheep out there? Are you tired enough of this shit yet?
Doorknob John Stewart claims that the dangerous, filthy and disgusting American subways of NYC are "the price to pay for freedom." That's odd, because the subways in Tokyo are pretty fantastic and Japan never had any vaccine mandates or calls for vaccine passports. That was NYC.
The only subway I've ever ridden was in Washington, DC years ago. It was very clean, and I felt safe. I got on in Maryland and came out of the ground in front of the Smithsonian. I remember back when the streets were dug up in the 70s to build the subway system.
Even better than the Singapore MRT. That is very clean indeed but they have severe penalties for littering and graffiti, does Russia have such laws?
The only I flew through NYC LaGuardia airport, I thought I was in Guatemala or Jamaica. It's ancient and decrepit. And the NYC subway is a run-down relic. The cars sway back and forth from tracks that should have been replaced decades ago.
In Los Angeles County in 1990, the year they let in a million immigrants, we started to see graffiti and large piles of trash on the ground. It hasn't changed since then.
