Conclusions
This MR study demonstrated no significant causal relationships between red/processed meat intake and the risk of the four CVD outcomes examined. Further investigation is warranted to confirm these findings.
Coverage of this on Epoch Times
Here is an older study (N=29 682) that claimed to have found correlation between redmeat and heart diseases.
Actually the only finding for extensive diet of red meat is dementia. Eventually if you lived into your senior years.
But that is not an acutal study.
Nobody has followed people for 80 years, documenting their real food intake.
Ever.
Instead, they ask questionnaires, which are often biased.
Besides that, if you give questionnaires about what a person has eaten during their lives, how reliable would the results be if they already had dementia?
