Can you explain what you mean about using a cell phone for a land line? Do you mean you just no longer use a land line, or is there something more to this? Thanks.
I no longer have a land line, but my husband bought 2 cell phones, one for himself, and one to leave at home where our land line stayed. My daughter lives behind us and there are times she doesn't have a phone, so she uses ours. So one cell phone has become our sort of land line.
I see. Alright, thanks for explaining.
Lots of people cancel their land lines and use cell phones instead.
Oh, I know. I've never even had one. I was just trying to figure out if that's what she meant or if there was some sort of technology that allowed one to hook a cell phone into the old landline jacks.
No...we kept our land line because if you ever have an emergency and can't speak if you can get the receiver off, the line can be traced to your address..
